Santiago, CHILE - 05/09/2008 Codium Networks and the Chilean company Nomadenet have signed a cooperation agreement to prepare a rural broadband wireless access project for the Civil Works Department (MOP). The goal is to promote the use of broadband wireless technologies using the infrastructures of the Rural Potable Water Distribution System in the region. The project proposes to deploy a pilot project to demonstrate the successful application of WiMAX technology in the rural environment. |
