Santiago, CHILE January, 2009 The firm FSC Chile and Codium Networks have established an agreement to jointly promote leading edge 4G engineering and consuilting services in the support of the development of projects based in Mobile WiMAX technologies in the national territory.
Tegucigalpa, HONDURAS December 15, 2008 Codium Networks and the AXIOMA group have carried out successfully the deployment of the first WiMAX network in the region of Tegucigalpa. AXIOMA will now begin an extended commercial deployment that will be carried out starting February 2009. A network expansion has been planned in other cities by the middle of 2009 and in this context Codium Networks has already initiated site-surveying work on this new project.
Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA November 7, 2008 KAANIT, a new provider of telecommunications services, working in the south of Buenos Aires, has begun the commercial deployment of a ground-breaking wireless access network. This is the first such network to be built in the area. Broadband services are offered in the towns of Viedma and Patagones. In the middle of 2009 further roll-outs have been planned, with the backing Codium Networks, to extend coverage to other cities of this region.
Santiago, CHILE September 5, 2008 Codium Networks and the Chilean company Nomadenet have signed a cooperation agreement to prepare a rural broadband wireless access project for the Civil Works Department (MOP). The goal is to promote the use of broadband wireless technologies using the infrastructures of the Rural Potable Water Distribution System in the region. The project proposes to deploy a pilot project to demonstrate the successful application of WiMAX technology in the rural environment.
Tegucigalpa, HONDURAS August 5, 2008 Codium Networks and the AXIOMA group have signed an agreement for the supply of network infrastructure for the deployment of a broadband wireless network in the region of Tegucigalpa. Codium Networks will provide the hardware (access points, CPEs and microwave), the Elements Management System (EMS) and the related RF Engineering services.
San Salvador, EL SALVADOR July 18, 2008 The telecommunications service provider GCA Telecom has selected Codium Networks as the infrastructure provider for a broadband wireless pilot project in the region of San Salvador. This agreement includes the supply of base stations and CPEs, and the Engineering Services related to RF planning, the commissioning and certification of the network.
Beirut, Lebanon July 7, 2008 The Lebanese company HEQUET (www.hequet.net), a leading Lebanese ISP based in Beirut, has begun the deployment of a pre-Mobile WiMAX broadband wireless access network. Codium Networks has been the company responsible for the integration and commissioning of the network (both EMS and Radio system), as well as the network certification and related RF planning. HEQUET and Codium have also signed a Level 3 technical Support contract for the maintenance and operation of the network, both for base stations and for terminal devices.
Monrovia, LIBERIA March, 2008 Codium Networks, known for its expertise in field engineering services on the African continent has once more been selected, this time by COMIUM Liberia (www.comium.com.lr), a leading mobile and wireless broadband services provider, belonging to the Comium group, to perform a Network Audit for the broadband wireless access network deployed in Monrovia town. The network audit was carried out in March, 2008. In addition to the network audit, Codium performed the preliminary RF planning tasks (site location and selection) for a projected network expansion.
